An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or to further develop your career within the innovative South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. This is a permanent, full time post working Monday – Thursday 08:45 – 16:45 and Friday 08:45 – 16:15 based within Newberry Rooney Centre, 100 New Park St, Hamilton ML3 0BN

We are looking to recruit a clerical assistant who will support with the coordination of all centralised mobile equipment, monitor and process IT task requests for the resource and facilitate the processing of all electronic service user documents and maintain the EDRMS system.

As a clerical assistant, you will be responsible for the following:


    supporting with the coordination of all laptops and mobile phones
    completion of IT task requests for all Social Work
    coordination of mobile equipment, including ordering new and dealing with the refresh of existing equipment.
    updating and maintaining INV2s using Objective workflows
    updating the mobile phone inventory and Vcol (Vodaphone inventory)
    stock control, ensuring sufficient stock for new posts
    diary management of appointments for the distribution of equipment
    reception cover
    support with the training of new staff
    monitor the team workload, feeding back any concerns or issues to your line manager

    Within this role, you will require excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with admin and operational staff and managers. You will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your work effectively. You should be flexible in your approach, to meet the demands of the post.
