Summary
Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's busy distribution center for a leading supermarket, where orders are constructed for distribution to the stores.
Brightwork is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in East Kilbride, Glasgow.
The rate of pay is:
- Days £12.74 per hour
- Nights £15.44 per hour
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
Applicants must be over 18 to apply.
This role would not be suitable for part-time workers or students as it is a full-time role only.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Working within the recycling department of a national chain of supermarkets
- Moving old packaging for recycling and sorting and cleaning baskets sent back from stores
- Working in a cold environment.
The majority of work would be on a production line, with training available on other warehouse duties.
Please note that there is some heavy lifting involved in this role.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker must have great attention to detail and work efficiently to meet daily targets.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of English, both verbal and written, to communicate well with other workers.
All candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test prior to starting.
Previous experience working within a similar role is desirable; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
