Summary

Registered Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday (some flexibility required)
Salary: Up to £75,000 per year

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to take charge of a beautiful nursing and residential home for older adults, including those living with dementia.

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC nurse qualification – essential
  • Level 5 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager with a successful record of Good or Outstanding CQC outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in staff management, budgeting, and business operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily running of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for all residents
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and drive continuous improvement towards Good and Outstanding outcomes
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a dedicated care team, fostering a supportive workplace culture
  • Oversee budgets, occupancy, and business performance to maintain long-term sustainability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
  • Ensure safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care remain at the heart of all practice
