Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Arboricultural Consultant to join our Arborist team at the UKs leading FM company, delivering high quality tree care solutions across urban and woodland settings within our Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services business. Delivering the exceptional every day.
You will be responsible for.
-Delivering a wide variety of services including condition surveys and associated reports, decay detection reports using our Picus3 and Resistograph drill, de-compaction works and veteran tree management, home buyers tree reports, woodland management and development site tree surveys and associated reports.
-Undertaking tree condition surveys
-Making management proposals
-Assisting with costing estimates for tree works,
-Assisting with risk assessments and producing associated reports.
What we are looking for.
-Minimum 2 years' experience in arboriculture
-Full driving license
-Minimum QCF Level 4 Qualification in Arboriculture Relevant
-A good understanding of smartphone technology
-Flexibility - overtime or out of hours work may be required.
Preferable but not essential
-LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector
-Some consultancy experience
-Experience of tree management software and GIS
