Summary
Are you a confident, adaptable leader with a passion for supporting people and developing teams?
We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead teams that support individuals with physical disabilities. Some individuals may also have additional needs, such as substance misuse.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same and your ability to stay organised, manage time effectively, and adapt to change will be key.
• Care Team Manager - (Hybrid, Mon–Fri with potential flexible working pattern)
• Location: Swansea
• Hours: Full-time (37 hours), Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• On-call: Quarterly rotation
• Salary: £31,354 + excellent benefits
About the Role
As Team Manager, you’ll lead a team of staff, working closely to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across Swansea
You’ll be responsible for service delivery, compliance, team development, and ensuring the needs of individuals are met with compassion and professionalism.
You’ll work alongside the Registered Manager to:
Deliver services in line with RISCA, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Social Care Wales standards
Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of your team
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks
Manage referrals, rosters, and service delivery plans
Support individuals with their individual complex needs
Collaborate with families, professionals, and partner organisations
Use IT systems confidently to manage data, rosters, and reporting
Participate in the on-call rota and support other services as needed
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience in adult social care
Strong IT literacy and organisational skills
Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices (desirable)
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
QCF/ NVQ in Health & Social Care (and willingness to work towards Level 4)
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
A flexible, proactive mindset and a passion for making a difference
