Summary

Todmorden Town Hall is one of Calderdale’s premier cultural venues and sits within Public Services of Calderdale Council. The Halls host a varied arts and entertainment programme curated by professional events companies, local community organisations and the Town Hall team. Hosting concerts, dances, theatre performances and local community organisations activities across the various spaces within the building.



We are looking to recruit bar staff to work on a casual basis to cover evening, weekend and day time shifts on a rota basis, as dictated by the performances, meetings and other activities taking place within the Halls. The role involves providing exceptional customer experience and ensuring a high quality drinks service. It will also encompass assisting event staff with the safe set up and clearance of event infrastructure.



The successful candidates will have previous experience of working busy bar service, excellent customer service skills, sales and communication skills, be numerate, and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. A polite and friendly disposition, and a commitment to high standards with the ability to work unsociable hours, sometimes at short notice is required.



Previous experience working in varied hospitality environments is desirable.



The role involves moving and handling and candidates must be able to move between different levels of the venue using stairs.
