Summary

We're looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Devonport Dockyard team based Plymouth, Devon



Location: Plymouth, Devon UK (Nuclear Defence Base)

Hours: Full-time, Site-Based

Responsibilities

As a Technical Advisor, you'll be working within the Devonport Dockyard team, supporting them in a major infrastructure redevelopment project within a nuclear defence base..

Your day to day will include:

-Ensure compliance with MOD security requirements, including the Security Aspects Letter (SAL), Cyber Security Model (CSM), and ISO 27001.

-Lead investigations into security incidents, ensuring timely reporting and resolution in line with MOD protocols.

-Support onboarding and assurance of supply chain partners, particularly in relation to IT and cyber security compliance.

-Maintain and update the project's Security Risk Register and contribute to overall risk management strategies.

-Monitor compliance with the Cyber Security Model (CSM) and ISO 27001 across the project and supply chain.



What are we looking for?

This role of Technical Advisor is great for you if:

-Proven experience in a security advisory role within a high-security or defence environment.

-Strong understanding of HMG and MOD security frameworks, including SPF/GovS 007, SAL, JSP 440, and CSM.

-Knowledge of HMG/MOD information and cyber security principles, standards, and best practices.
