Summary
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic healthcare assistants to join our team to provide person-centred care for a gentleman who enjoys a range of unique interests and activities.
He loves spending time with his horses (especially feeding them carrots!), watching and talking about his favourite videos, and sharing bubble-themed stories or swimming fun. Trips to the seaside and water tunnel are highlights of his week, and he values being around familiar people he remembers positively.
The ideal candidate will bring patience, creativity, and a genuine willingness to engage in the things he enjoys most. Previous experience supporting people with autism and learning difficulties is highly desirable.
Market leading rates of pay:
• £12.50/hour during weekdays day shifts (Monday-Fridays)
• £13.00/hour during weekday night shifts and all day Saturdays
• £13.50/hour during all day Sundays
• £24.00/hour during all day Bank holidays
• £9.00/hour Sleeping Nights

Responsibilities:
• Support patients with their physical care needs, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
• Deliver person-centered care according to individual bespoke care plans.
• Promote independence and respect each patient’s spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
• Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.

Day Shift: 08:00am – 08:00pm
