Job Title: Employability Programme Co-Ordinator
Location: Remote (UK-based, with travel to meetings across the UK)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible working options available
Contract: 8-month fixed-term (maternity cover)
We are recruiting for a UK-based youth-focused charity dedicated to empowering young people to fulfil their potential. Through their programmes, they provide safe spaces, mentoring, and opportunities to develop life and employability skills. Their goal is to support young people into sustainable employment and positive futures while creating credible career pathways for youth workers.
Role Purpose
The Employability Programme Co-Ordinator will oversee the delivery of an employability programme that supports young people aged 18–25 who are not in education, training, or employment, or are at risk of disengagement. You will act as the main link between youth organisations, work experience providers, and employers, ensuring smooth programme coordination and a positive experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and deliver the employability programme, including recruitment, training, and work placements.
• Serve as the primary contact for youth organisations, employers, and programme partners.
• Organise training and visits for both staff and participants.
• Troubleshoot issues during placements and act as a mediator between stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and data in the CRM system, producing reports and insights to track programme outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting them to deliver high-quality experiences for young people.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Excellent partnership-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing data.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
Desirable:
• Experience managing employability, training, or skills development programmes, particularly with young people.
• Familiarity with community organisations or youth services.
