Summary
JSR Precision Engineers Ltd are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Turner to join our dynamic, Precision Engineering and manufacturing team at our main site, located in Sheffield.
We specialise in Precision, Agricultural, and Laser Cutting engineering, providing high quality products to our customers.
Duties:
• Program, Set up, and Operate CNC lathes.
• Be able to Program Fanuc Systems
• Might require using a manual Lathe at times
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the machining requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Using measuring instruments
• Manual handling of materials
Experience:
• Some years of experience of programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes.
• The ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the machining requirements.
• Knowledge on how to set up tooling.
• Knowledge of Fanuc programming system
• Knowledge of Mazatrol systems would be advantage but not necessary training can be given for the right candidate
• Basic maths skills and use of hand tools for measuring and adjusting components.
