This role is all about being Brilliant at the Basics: taking pride in your work, paying attention to detail, and making sure every space is well cared for.

If you bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, we’ll give you the training and support you need to build a successful career with us.

Take the first step—apply today and join a team that’s shaping a strong future together.

Salary: From £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: 9am – 5.30pm

About the Role: Our Grounds & Site Maintenance team are the hands-on heroes of the park—keeping everything safe, tidy, and looking its best. From well-kept gardens and play areas to holiday homes, decking, and facilities, you’ll make sure our guests enjoy a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive. Whether it’s siting caravans, fixing decking, mowing lawns, or keeping paths clear, no two days are the same.

Day-to-day, you’ll:
• Maintain all grounds, gardens, play areas, and public spaces to a high standard
• Repair and landscape pitches, including decking, patios, and paths
• Assist with siting and de-siting caravans and lodges
• Safely operate and maintain mowers, tools, and equipment
• Keep walkways, fields, and facilities clean, clear, and litter-free
• Ensure the park always looks attractive, welcoming, and safe for guests and owners

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and pride in your work really make a difference.

About the Person: We’re looking for someone practical, reliable, and ready to get stuck in. Experience in a similar maintenance or grounds role is ideal, but if you’ve got the right attitude and are quick to learn, we’ll give you the support you need. Skills such as joinery, plumbing, or landscaping are a big advantage. You’ll need to be organised, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers. A valid driving licence is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A clean, valid driving licence
• Previous experience in grounds or site maintenance (experience siting caravans is desirable)
• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, or general maintenance
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• A hardworking, flexible attitude with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
• Willingness to support the wider park team and adapt as needed

At Verdant, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude—someone who takes pride in their work and is always ready to go the extra mile.

Benefits: When you join Team Verdant you will be working in a fun and collaborative environment. You can also take advantage of some fantastic benefits including:
