Denholm Bakers, a well-established and local bakery, is looking for an enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team.
About the role - As a Shop Assistant, you'll be the face of our bakery, providing a warm welcome to our customers. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is flexible and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
DUTIES INCLUDE
• serving customers in a busy bakery & take-away up to 5 days Monday to Saturday
• Assist with customer inquiries and orders, and provide advice on products
• cash & card payments handling
• till operating
• Keep the shop and display areas clean, tidy, and inviting at all times
REQUIREMENTS
• experience preferred but not essential
• good level of numeracy
• A friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for serving the public.
• be able to participate as a team member
• flexibility with working hours to both our shops at Wishaw & Motherwell
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical Fitness: The role involves standing for long periods and some lifting.
