The role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Psychologist to join a supportive and well-regarded team.
This role focuses on carrying out and completing statutory assessments, preferably face to face ones, as part of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct face-to-face assessments of children and young people as part of EHCP needs assessments
Liaise effectively with relevant departments and professionals
Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory guidance and service standards
What the client is looking for:
Relevant postgraduate training in Educational Psychology
HCPC/ SWE registration
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Local Authority as an Educational Psychologist
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory responsibilities
Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills
