Are you a HR professional ready to make a significant impact?

We're recruiting a HR Admin Officer to join Thinking Solutions for Education on a fixed term contract until31 August 2026. You will provide support to our parent group’s HR team for their Trust schools.

As HR Admin Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting colleagues across the Trust and our commercial arm. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days look the same

You will become a vital part of our HR team. You will work with senior school leaders and develop strong relationships. You will take ownership of HR admin and queries from TSAT schools.

What you will be doing:

• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing clear advice and guidance while escalating more complex matters appropriately.
• Support the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding to employee relations, performance, and wellbeing.
• Manage your own caseload of HR matters, including absence management and low-level employee relations, ensuring timely, fair, and consistent outcomes.
• Provide administrative support to the HR function, including accurate record keeping, HR system updates, and compliance checks.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the team by supporting HR processes, preparing documentation, and producing reports and correspondence.
• Build relationships with staff and managers, offering a professional and approachable HR service that reflects our ethos and values of TSfE.

• Experience of providing HR advice and support, ideally within a busy and varied environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• A willingness to learn and develop as part of a supportive team.
