Our Student Services team operate across the campus offering support, supervision and safeguarding for all students as well as organising a range of activities, societies and sports clubs.About the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven person, who is confident to lead the running of all aspects of the Student Union Bar, Evening Activities and Entertainment for the students on site.Working (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 16:00 – 00:00 & Thursday 17:00 -01:00)Key responsibilities:Organise and advertise a well-planned programme of events to suit all.Assist in supporting Student Union activities, societies, sports clubs.Manage the Jim Humphreys Centre (The Bar), Bield and Court Yard bars in the evening.Ensure residual bar duties are complete, including stocks, rotas, cleaning and line cleaning.Maintain records of student involvement and assist in patrolling the campus.The successful candidate will:Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade C (or equivalent).Demonstrable experience of interacting effectively with a diverse range of clients including working with young people.Personal License Holder or willing to work towards.Must have a full, clean driving license.Maximising effective and efficient use of social and sporting facilities.
