Summary
Chalk Education are excited to be working with a dedicated SEN provision to recruit a passionate and proactive SEN Tutor and Teaching Assistant for a part-time role across Cheshire East.
If you're tired of the traditional classroom setting, this is the opportunity for you. This role is off-site based, delivering activity-led, hands-on learning - think "never sit down" sessions with education embedded into engaging, real-world activities.
About the Role:
- Work with children and young people with SEMH needs (Social, Emotional, Mental Health).
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support in non-classroom, community-based settings.
- Develop creative, interactive learning opportunities.
- Support progress tracking and complete end-of-week reports.
What You'll Need:
- A teaching qualification: PGCE, QTS, QTLLS or PTLLS.
- Proven experience supporting learners with SEMH needs.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car - essential due to the off-site nature of the role.
- A flexible, energetic and outdoor-minded attitude.
