This role is well suited to a candidate with a strong manufacturing background, with experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and provide rapid response to breakdown situations.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks according to the plant schedule.
- Undertake Engineering Planned Maintenance activities within the Department.
- Ensure that safe working conditions are always maintained in conjunction with company 6's and Risk Assessment policies.
- Assist with the improvement methods of reducing plant downtime and increasing plant efficiencies.
Requirements
- Formally recognised engineering qualifications and an apprenticeship.
- Mechanically biased, with a multiskilled background.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of shift patterns.
- Manufacturing experience.
