Summary
Assessment & Housing Pathway Worker
Walthamstow | £25,755.62 per year | 40 hours per week (rota, including evenings/weekends)
We are seeking a motivated Assessment & Housing Pathway Worker to support rough sleepers in finding safe and sustainable accommodation. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in tackling homelessness.
- Carry out assessments and support clients into accommodation.
- Manage a caseload, creating tailored action plans.
- Work with local authorities, landlords, and partner agencies.
- Provide advice on housing, benefits, and support services.
- Keep accurate records and report outcomes.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people (ideally those facing homelessness).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of housing law, benefits, or homelessness issues (desirable).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
