Summary



-Front of House Officer

-Weekly Contracted hours: 36hrs

-Hourly rate: £12.98

Job Overview:

-We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Front of House Security Officer to join our team.

-As a FOH officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our client's premises, assets, and personnel.

-You will play a key role maintaining a secure environment and deterring potential threats.

-Working 36 hours per week.

-Working Mon / Wednesday / Friday

-Overtime opportunities available.

Main Duties:



-Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

-Respond promptly to alarms and incidents.

-Maintain a visible and professional presence.

-Enforce site Policies and Procedures, Assignment Instructions.

-Write detailed incident reports.

-Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies where necessary.

-Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

-Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures.

Training:

-Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.

-To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the FOH Supervisor

-Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.



Protection and Health & Safety:



-Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.

-Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss, or damage.

-Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.

-To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.

-Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process.

-Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.

-To ensure check calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).

-To call emergency services and Regional Operations Centre to report all incidents.



What we are looking for:



-Proven experience as a Security Officer / Front of House, in related roles.

-Proven experience in Emergency response role.

-Valid Security Licence

-Valid First Aid Certificate (EFAW or FAW).

-Strong Observational Skills and Security Situational Awareness.

-Excellent Communication Skills.

-Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extend periods.

-Basic Computer Skills.

-DBS Check.
