Summary

Electrician Supervisor

Daniel Owen are recruiting an Electrician Supervisor to join a trusted and accredited contractor specialising in electrical and property maintenance solutions across residential, commercial, and public-sector portfolios. With a reputation for excellence, compliance, and reliability, they deliver a wide range of services, from electrical testing and installations to large-scale refurbishment projects, for housing associations, local authorities, and private clients.

Position: Electrician Supervisor

Location: Derbyshire/ Birmingham/ East Midlands

Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 per annum + car allowance + package

Contract Type: Permanent

As part of their continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrician Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of electrical works, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and team performance across multiple active sites.

Role Overview

This is a key leadership position responsible for supervising and supporting a team of electricians and apprentices. The successful candidate will be accountable for project planning, site inspections, compliance management, and client liaison. You will play a pivotal role in upholding high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of electrical works on domestic properties.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and toolbox talks.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, technical guidance, and performance management for field-based operatives and apprentices.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, residents, consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor project budgets, material usage, and labour allocation, supporting cost control and commercial reporting.
  • Promote and enforce best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance, including incident investigation and corrective action planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
  • Current Gold ECS/CSCS card.
  • 18th Edition
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in housing, construction, or FM environments.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, fault-finding skills, and understanding of compliance frameworks
  • Full UK driving licence
