Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To assist the Lead Biospecimen Coordinator with the laboratory prep for all Urology clinics. Responsible under the supervision of the Lead Biospecimen Coordinator, for the handling, and recording of tissue / sample collection and ensuring activity is recorded and logged on the unit sample log at every step of the process. Ensure stock levels of clinical and non-clinical supplies are maintained through ordering, storing, and rotating stock and safely disposing of out-of-date stock. Request blood sample and/or tissue as per trial protocol and in line with hospital policy and HTA regulation, ensuring patient consent has been given in advance. To be able to translate instructions from a laboratory manual provided by the sponsor.
