Summary

We're looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Natural Resources team. In this role you'll be procurement officer for our new 7 year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Location: Hybrid working with occasional visits to the Falmer office, East SussexHours: Permanent, Full Time - flexible hours are available if preferred, just let us know upon application

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Procurement Officer to join our NRNN water team working on our Southern Water framework. In this role you'll be working within the team, supporting them with the sourcing, negotiation and governance of goods and subcontract procurement. The role will include administration of contractual purchase agreements, data analysis, enhancing efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities



In your day to day, you'll carry out:

-Administration relating to the issuing, monitoring and executing of Contractual Purchase Agreements and Purchase Orders

-Update and accurately maintain records and databases, providing reports and analysis to all levels of staff

-Arranging for documentation to be scanned and uploaded onto the in-house computer system

-New Suppliers/Sub Contractors - Initiate and liaise with Supply Chain to start the procedure and gather all necessary information

-Dealing with incoming Supply Chain questions/requests and carrying out small level sub-contract tendering and procurement

What are we looking for?

This Procurement Officer role is great for you if you have:

-Experience in administration with sub-contract procurement

-Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook

-Good telephone Manner and organisational ability
