Shape the Future of Construction at KierWe're looking for a strategic and inspiring Construction & Engineering Director to join our Eastern & Midlands Construction team. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, where you'll drive operational excellence, consistency, and innovation across a portfolio of up to 40 live projects, with regional revenues of £200-400m per annum.

What You'll Be DoingAs our Construction & Engineering Director, you'll:

-Lead functional strategy across the region, ensuring consistent delivery standards and continuous improvement.

-Champion safety, health, wellbeing, sustainability, digital transformation, and quality across all project phases - from pre-construction to aftercare.

-Act as the regional SHW Director, chairing SHELT and driving a culture of zero harm and positive behaviours.

-Develop and implement SHE objectives, 90-day plans, and annual strategies.

-Oversee planning, environmental, quality, and building services resources.

-Drive digital adoption and performance monitoring using tools like Biosite, Novade, Procore, and Power BI.

-Collaborate with Regional Directors to optimise delivery and mitigate risk across the portfolio.
