Job Title: Class 2 Skip Driver (Permanent Position)
Location: Smethwick
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am start
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: £14.21 per hour for the first 40 hours, time and a half thereafter
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our client in Smethwick. This is a permanent, full-time role offering stable weekday hours with early starts.
You'll be responsible for skip deliveries, collections, and exchanges across the region. No previous skip experience is necessary - full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle to deliver, collect, and exchange skips
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Completing paperwork and following company procedures
- Providing excellent customer service on every job
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good communication and time management skills
- Reliable and committed to early starts
- Willingness to learn the skip side of the role (full training provided)
