Summary

Class 2 HGV Driver - £14.00 per hour - Darwen (Ad-hoc Work)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Darwen. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible shifts and non-permanent work.

Location: Darwen
Working Hours: Ad-hoc daytime shifts (start times may vary)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Type of Work: General haulage and palletised deliveries

The Role

  • Driving Class 2 vehicles for general haulage and palletised deliveries

  • Ensuring goods are loaded safely and delivered on time

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

  • Completing paperwork accurately and complying with driving regulations

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience

  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice

  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
