Summary

Your new company
Our client is a globally recognised defendant law firm. They are currently recruiting for an Industrial Diease Solicitor/CILEx to join on a largely home-working basis. A salary of up to £42,000 + annual bonus is available and negotiable dependent on experience.

Your new role
This Industrial Disease Solicitor/CILEx role will see you:

  • Manage a caseload of industrial disease claims, including NIHL, HAVS, and asbestos-related conditions.
  • Assist senior lawyers with more complex disease cases.
  • Work with a mix of insurer clients and self-insured companies who instruct the firm directly.
  • Receive a comprehensive training programme tailored to your level of experience.
  • Ensure full compliance with the firm's billing and credit control protocols, demonstrating strong financial management of your own files.
  • Support the team's marketing and business development activities, including attending client meetings, training sessions, and marketing events.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive.
  • Experience handling your own caseload of industrial disease claims.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with insurer clients.
  • Defendant experience is preferable, although claimant applicants will also be considered.
