Summary
Are you an experienced Estimator seeking a new role?
Have you got experience working for a main contractor as the Estimator?
As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Kent.
As the Estimator you will:
- Arrange site inspections
- Provide accurate budgets/cost plans
- Provide detailed "take-off" and Bill of Quantities (BQ)
- Work on traditional Plan and Specification, Design and Build and possibly Partnered Contracts
- Obtain competitive prices for materials and sub-contract packages
- Oversee or complete quote analysis comparisons
- Check and amend rate/price build-ups where necessary
What are they looking for?
- Proven experience as the Estimator within the construction industry
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
