Summary

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as a Food Technology Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative and practical Food Technology lessons.

  • Prepare students for assessments and qualifications.

  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment within the classroom and food technology kitchen.

  • Support students of all abilities, ensuring inclusivity and progress.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and department development.

Ideal Food Technology Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Food Technology Teacher.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
