Summary
Main responsibilities of the role include: To act as advocate for the neonate. To manage and professionally lead the nursing team in the clinical area in the absence of the senior nurse and as part of the multidisciplinary team. To deliver and supervise patient care for the clinical area ensuring assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of a high standard of nursing care. To manage caseload of patients within defined clinical area, whilst offering guidance to junior medical staff.
