Your role We’re looking for a skilled communications professional with a keen PR focus who cares just as much as we do about our work as a leading social housing provider; our values are key to all that we do, and we are very proud of our One Team ethic. We need you to confidently work with our senior leaders to craft insightful thought leadership, and be adept at building relationships with our stakeholders to help us strengthen the Group’s position as a leader in the North West. You will have the opportunity to lead on exciting PR campaigns on issues that we care about, with a keen focus on corporate affairs and sector themes, whilst always putting our tenants at the heart of all that we do. Your experience with PR, media relations and crisis comms mean you will be an expert at handling press releases, media enquiries and press statements under pressure whilst building positive relationship with key partners and stakeholders. You will use your video editing and copywriting skills to tell our story in a compelling and creative way. You will be as comfortable writing tenant and technical case studies, as you are developing blogs and articles that target our corporate audience. You will lead on the day to day management of our corporate social media channels, utilising your experience to target different audiences, moderating audience engagement, and creating impactful content. You will also be working with the team on important behaviour change campaigns and supporting our campaigns that keep our tenants in safe and well-maintained homes, with the opportunities they deserve to live full and independent lives. Main dutiescreating engaging content for our corporate audience including videos, blogs, stories, and infographicsproactive media and handling media enquirieswriting case studiesco-ordinating crisis commsdeveloping thought leadership leading on social mediasupporting the wider team with internal and tenant-led communications and campaigns What we are looking for We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of PR and media to help us amplify our corporate, tenant and employer brand. You will have a strong all-round communications skillset and will enjoy working closely with our senior leadership team. You will be no stranger to developing an insightful PR campaign that packs punch and you’ll know exactly how to develop a media statement under pressure. You will be welcomed into a supportive and friendly team with a creative, open and inclusive approach to collaborative working. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in our Leyland office on a regular basis and attend events and shoots in the Lancashire area. You will be provided with equipment to work remotely on the days you are not in the office.
