A lovely family in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby. The role includes all standard nanny duties, and a confident driver, capable of managing both automatic and manual cars, is essential. This family of three would like support as the mother returns to work. Their baby will begin nursery in the first week of November, though they are open to the nanny starting earlier to settle into the role. The household also has a small hypoallergenic Cavapoo, which attends doggy daycare twice a week. Batch cooking may be required. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Option 1: Tuesday mornings - 8:30 am to midday, Thursday - midday to 6:00 pm, Friday - 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (all day). Option 2: Tuesday - 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (all day), Thursday - midday to 6:00 pm, Friday - 8:30 am to midday. Total hours per week: 19 hours
Duties include:
Maintain a consistent daily routine for the baby
Engage in age-appropriate developmental and educational activities, such as reading and interactive play
Support developmental milestones while ensuring the baby’s safety and well-being at all times
Organise and accompany the baby to trips, including park visits and baby classes
Uphold exceptional hygiene standards in all aspects of care
Provide a warm, nurturing, and safety-conscious environment
Keep the baby’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Organise and tidy toys regularly
Manage all baby-related laundry
Support the weaning process and prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the baby’s needs
Batch cook meals as required
Assist with the care of the family’s small Cavapoo (hypoallergenic), who attends doggy daycare twice a week
