Our client is a modern and dynamically developing company, one of the leaders in mushroom production and high-quality agricultural products in the UK.
Due to expansion and business growth, the company is looking for a Harvesting Manager who will be able to effectively organise team operations and ensure the highest quality and stability of production processes.
Main Responsibilities:

• Organise and oversee mushroom harvesting, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency of production.
• Lead, train, and support supervisors, pickers, and placers to achieve performance and quality targets.
• Prepare and implement daily and weekly workforce schedules according to anticipated yields.
• Assess crops daily and adjust staffing based on operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
• Introduce continuous improvement initiatives to optimise harvesting processes.
• Take responsibility for recruitment, training, and overall team performance management.
• Collaborate with growing and production departments to ensure smooth operations across the site.
Candidate Requirements:
• Management experience in mushroom production or fresh produce harvesting is desirable.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities to manage workforce schedules effectively.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and make sound operational decisions.
• Good communication skills and English at least A2 level.
• Knowledge of other languages is highly desirable, as the team is international and multicultural.
