Your new company
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Safeguarding Administrator to join our vibrant primary school community in Sheffield. This vital role supports the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and wider pastoral team in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
Your new role
This school is looking for a full-time Safeguarding Administrator to start as soon as possible. Your time in this role will include:
- Maintain accurate and confidential safeguarding records using CPOMS or similar systems
- Input information into the system correctly/type up meeting notes
- Act as a first point of contact for safeguarding queries and concerns
- Liaise with internal staff and external agencies to support safeguarding processes
- Assist with the coordination of safeguarding meetings and documentation
- Ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in administration, ideally within an educational or safeguarding setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems
We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
