Summary
Key Duties/Responsibilities Management and clinical responsibility for the Team, ensuring processes are in place for the delivery of safe, compassionate care in accordance with Trust policies and procedures To provide strong clinical leadership as well as work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Lead a multi-disciplinary team of staff in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisal takes place. Ensure systems are in place to manage administrative and operational resources in a cost-effective manner, evaluating the standard of service delivered. Co-ordinate multidisciplinary working, maintaining excellent communication and working relationships with all team members, to ensure effective interface and continuity of care between disciplines and services. Role model best practice, where appropriate undertaking clinical procedures to a standard that ensures safe and effective care and complies with the relevant Code of Conduct or relevant professional bodies. Management of clinical care within the team, ensuring that clinical pathways and Trust values underpin the practice and delivery of care on the unit. To work within and across professional and organisational boundaries to deliver integrated, individualised and expert care and leading communication with all stakeholders. The post holder will work alongside the Service Manager.To support with the day-to-day management, quality and performance of the service. Demonstrate highly developed clinical skills and act as clinical advisor and educator to junior staff. To provide support and guidance to colleagues over issues of risks and / or complex clinical presentation.
