Our clientis seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Engineer to join a landmark substation project on the Isle of Skye. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure initiative in one of the UK’s most scenic locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all EHS activities on-site, ensuring full compliance with client standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement EHS plans, procedures, and training programs.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure sustainability practices are upheld.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certification – Mandatory
- Proven experience in EHS roles within construction or energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote location.
