Summary

We are currently recruiting for Activity Coordinator to join our team. This role will work 28 Hours across 5 shifts based at Highfield residential home.



This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with previous experience to join a team who is focused on provided the very best care and support possible.



On a day to day basis you will complete duties such as:

To plan and organise activities within a care home
To engage residents in activities, both one to one and in groups
To access activities for residents outside of the care home
To access and arrange for community-based groups to visit the home
To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals Daily Journal’s
To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
To contribute to the Homes newsletter
To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate forward thinking and initiative to create a fun packed timetable for all to enjoy and offer flexibility in their work pattern.
