About Hire Stack
Hire Stack is an innovative recruitment CRM that’s rapidly gaining traction across the UK. Built to transform the way agencies and employers manage talent, our platform combines intuitive design, scalability, and modern tech to deliver real impact. With massive growth potential ahead, we’re looking for ambitious developers to join our core team and help shape the future of recruitment technology.
This is your chance to work at the heart of a fast-moving company, where your ideas and code will directly influence product direction and company growth.
The Role
We’re seeking a versatile full-stack developer who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll play a key role in developing Hire Stack’s platform, adding new features, scaling performance, and experimenting with cutting-edge integrations (including AI-powered tools).
You’ll work closely with our small but ambitious team, taking ownership of projects, delivering solutions end-to-end, and helping us meet the needs of a growing client base.
What We’re Looking For
A motivated developer ready to grow with an expanding SaaS company
Full-stack capabilities, comfortable moving between front-end and back-end
Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to experiment
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting quickly
Technical Requirements
Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience building web apps with React (we use SolidJS, but React experience transitions well)
Backend experience with Node.js/Deno
Good working knowledge of SQL databases
Understanding of full-stack principles and best practices
Experience Level
We care more about your ability to solve real-world problems than years on your CV. If you’ve shipped projects, built something meaningful, or tackled challenging problems creatively—we want to see it.
Work Style
“Move fast and build” mentality – we iterate quickly and learn as we go
Comfortable with prototyping and pushing features rapidly
Able to collaborate closely with the team, while working autonomously
Adaptable to the changing needs of a scaling SaaS company
Growth Opportunities
Be part of a core product team shaping Hire Stack’s future
Clear path to senior leadership and decision-making roles
Exposure to technical and strategic challenges across the business
Your contributions will directly influence the platform’s success and adoption
Team Culture
Collaborative, open, and ambitious environment
Casual, creative, and flexible working style
Hybrid setup with remote-first flexibility (HQ in Cornwall)
High commitment when clients need us, balanced by trust and autonomy
Benefits
Competitive salary + performance bonuses
Flexitime
Hybrid remote working (please ensure you are able to work at our Truro office for 2-3 days a week and initially for 2 full weeks).
Apply
If you’re ready to take on meaningful challenges, grow rapidly, and help us build one of the UK’s most exciting recruitment platforms, we’d love to hear from you.
Show us a project—big or small—that highlights your approach to solving problems.
