Summary

7.5T (C1) Delivery Driver - Dartford Location: Dartford
Pay:
  • £14.00 per hour (standard rate)
  • £21.00 per hour (after 8 hours per day and on Saturdays & Sundays)
  • £28.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)
    Start Time: 7:00 AM
    Schedule: 5 days per week (between Monday and Sunday, rota basis)
Job Description The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a 7.5T (C1) Delivery Driver to join our client based in Dartford, delivering building and home improvement materials to residential addresses, construction sites, and trade customers. You'll be working as part of a 2-person team, alongside a driver's mate, who will support you with navigation and unloading. The role includes multi-drop deliveries of large and sometimes heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is essential. This is a customer-facing role, and we're looking for drivers who take pride in providing friendly, professional, and helpful service with every delivery. Key Duties:
  • Driving a 7.5T (C1) vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries across the region
  • Working closely with a driver's mate to load/unload items
  • Delivering building and home improvement materials safely and efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Completing paperwork and following company procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid C1 (7.5T) driving licence
  • CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting/manual handling
  • Experience in multi-drop or customer delivery roles is beneficial
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and have a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work weekends on a rota basis
  • Able to commute reliably to Dartford
