Summary
Job Title: Car Sales Executive
Location: Lexus Reading
Salary: £20,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £55,000+)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 18:00 (fixed day off: Wednesday)
Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00, 1 in 3 Sundays: 10:00 – 16:00
1 full weekend off in every 6-week rotation

With a clear commission structure, uncapped earning potential, and full manufacturer training, this role is ideal for someone eager to build a successful career in automotive retail – whether you’re experienced in car sales or new to the industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong relationships with customers to deliver a truly personalised buying experience
- Understand customer needs to recommend suitable vehicles, finance packages, and add-on products
- Present and explain value-added services such as service plans, accessories, and insurance
- Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry to handover and follow-up
- Achieve monthly targets: 8 used vehicles, 5 new vehicles, plus 40% add-on sales (when fully up to speed)
- Keep accurate customer records in internal systems and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Contribute to a supportive and high-performing sales team of six executives
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience is essential – automotive experience is welcome but not required
- We welcome candidates from retail, hospitality, or service industries with a passion for delivering excellence
- Hungry, customer-centric, and eager to learn – with a drive to exceed expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment
- Full UK driving licence is required
