Finance Assistant - Temporary

Plymouth (Central Location) | £12.80 per hour | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Temporary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Central Services team based in central Plymouth.

This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative finance department, in a role where attention to detail and organisational skills are key.

Key Duties:
  • Support daily finance administration tasks and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage financial documentation.
  • Assist with departmental finance reporting and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments across Central Services.
  • Handle all work with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in finance or administration (desirable).
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (required).
