Summary
Applications are invited for the post of Research Services Officer in the Research and Innovation Department at Royal Holloway, University of London.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Services Officer to join our team. This role is central to providing day-to-day operational support and expert advice on the costing and submission of research proposals, as well as managing the acceptance process for new research awards. You will play a vital part in supporting academic staff throughout the research funding journey and ensuring accurate administration of grant application data.
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in an administrative position, ideally within a research or higher education environment. You should have a strong aptitude for financial management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with a willingness to learn new systems. Strong organisational and numerical skills are key, as are excellent interpersonal abilities to build effective working relationships across the institution.
