Summary
At An Nead Caf in the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre, our Kitchen Assistants play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. From prepping fresh, seasonal ingredients to maintaining a spotless, safe workspace, youll support the cook in serving up wholesome, home-cooked meals that celebrate the flavours of the Highlands.
The main purpose of the Kitchen Assistant will be to support the cook in the kitchen to provide a range of homecooked meals, supporting the development of the menu, making changes to meet the demand of our customers. Daily activities including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, ensuring the kitchen meets the standards required of us.
The Kitchen Assistant works directly with the cook, reporting to the Café Manager. During peak season, you will also support the café team out front, serving customers and maintaining the restaurant area.
