Summary

Lytchett Minster School is looking for colleagues who are passionate about supporting teaching and who will relish the prospect of making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to share in the work of our thriving Student Support Centre and to work with a friendly and supportive team housed in excellent modern facilities. Whether you are new to working in a school, or are a more experienced and ambitious colleague wishing to develop your career, this vibrant and successful school can help you to develop and flourish.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a talent for engaging students and you will be required to work flexibly across all age groups and abilities. This role complements the professional work of teachers by providing support in-class and small group support to students. There will be opportunities to develop within the team and make a valued contribution to students’ learning. The working hours for this post are 8.35am – 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible.
Set in a semi-rural location with an 18th Century family Manor House at its heart, Lytchett has one of the most beautiful and inspirational learning environments in the county with stunning extensive grounds and a number of modern extensions. The school is massively over-subscribed and highly regarded in the community. Parents know that Lytchett looks after its students, providing them with outstanding pastoral care and high-quality teaching. The school has a successful, thriving sixth form with over 340 students.
Lytchett has not joined a multi-academy trust, and has no intention of doing so, because it values its independence as a secondary school which serves its local community and produces outstanding outcomes for its students.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CLOSE THIS ADVERT EARLY AND/OR TO APPOINT PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE. WE WOULD THEREFORE ENCOURAGE YOUR EARLY APPLICATION.
