Location: Carlton, Nottingham NG4 - Nearby to Nottingham, Sherwood, Arnold, West Bridgford
Day Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025. Immediate for the right candidate.
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures are working with an inclusive and welcoming primary school, who are seeking a passionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to work with either KS1 or KS2. You'll be working alongside staff supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. The focus for this role will be on 1:1 support.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will support pupils with varied send needs including communication, cognition and sensory needs.
- You will work collaboratively with the lead teacher in the room to deliver tailored interventions.
- You will provide 1:1 and small group support, focusing on engagement and progress.
- You will foster a positive, nurturing learning space where pupils feel safe and supported.
- You will help manage transitions and daily routines effectively.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with SEND, either in a school or care setting.
- A calm, flexible and patient approach.
- Confidence working across different age groups within a small setting.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
