Location: Shirley, B90
Day Rate: From £90 per day (PAYE - no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 or 08:30 - 16:30
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role

As a Specialist Tutor, you'll provide individualised support to pupils using practical, interest-based learning approaches that go beyond traditional classroom methods. This includes:
- Supporting students 1:1 or 2:1 with personalised learning plans
- Delivering creative lessons linked to student interests - e.g. Maths through games, Geography in the community
- Assisting with personal care where required (full training provided)
- Using evidence-based methods such as ABA and PECS
- Helping pupils develop communication, life skills, and independence
- Maintaining a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with autism
- Calm, adaptable, and creative problem solver
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- Experience in SEN, care, psychology, youth work, or transferable skills (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to complete safeguarding and induction training before starting
- Physical readiness for an active, engaging role
