Summary
Hays is proud to be supporting a local Council in the recruitment of two experienced Finance Business Analysts to join their transformation programme.
We are seeking highly skilled Business Analysts with a strong financial background to support the mapping and delivery of this critical project. You will play a key role in analysing financial data, influencing strategic decisions, and ensuring compliance across the service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial reports provided by Business Analysts, identify issues, recommend solutions, and influence senior decision-makers.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, local, and corporate financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Service Heads to support effective forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and financial processes.
- Maintain accurate records and manage financial databases effectively.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing guidance and maintaining up-to-date support materials.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale transformation projects (Oracle experience highly desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
