Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture children at the very start of their learning journey. Beginning April 2025.
Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s curiosity and development.
Assess, track and record pupil progress, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Promote the school’s ethos and contribute to the wider school community.
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in Reception.
A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as Reception Year Teacher.
A caring, creative and flexible approach to teaching.
