Summary

The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting.
Whilst previous endoscopy experience may be advantageous it is not essential as we provide training and competency assessment.
The post holder will have an important role in this large and dynamic team that includes a team of Nurse Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper GI Surgical Consultants and a large nursing and HCSW team.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration

Poole Hospital Endoscopy Unit consists of 3 procedure rooms. Royal Bournemouth Hospital has 3 procedure rooms and Wimborne has 1 procedure room.
Across sites we provide diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures, respiratory procedures like bronchoscopy, EBUS and thoracoscopy. We also do complex procedures including: Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and the Bowel cancer screen programme.
