Summary

Class 1 Day Driver - Multidrop (10-15 Drops Daily)

Location: Normanton
Shift: Monday to Friday, starting from 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: £15.96 per hour

ADR preferred but not essential

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for daytime multi-drop work (10-15 deliveries per day) based in Normanton. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects for the right candidate.

You'll be delivering goods across various customer locations and branches. The role includes some longer-distance runs, but your day will typically involve multiple drops.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Completing 10 to 15 multi-drop deliveries per day.

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.

  • Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with VOSA standards.

  • Using a handheld scanner and completing delivery paperwork accurately.

  • Representing the company with a positive, can-do attitude.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 1 (HGV1) licence

  • CPC and Digital Tachograph card

  • ADR qualification (preferred but not essential)

  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements)

  • Experience in multi-drop delivery

  • Strong knowledge of the UK road network
