About the role:

The School wishes to appoint a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Medicine to join our MBBS teaching team.

The postholder will lead on delivery of the programme for Year 4 MBBS students who are undertaking an additional year of studies to repeat the Applied Knowledge Test component of the Medical Licensing Assessment. You will also assist as required with teaching and assessment for other student cohorts within the clinical years.

About you:

The successful candidate will have experience of working as a medical practitioner within a clinical setting along with substantial experience of teaching and mentoring undergraduate medical students.

For this role it is essential that you have an undergraduate degree in a relevant medical area.

Additional information:

Please note this role is to be paid at the Clinical Senior Lecturer pay rate and will not attract a Consultant rate of pay.

The post is based at Burnley campus with occasional travel required to the Preston and Whitehaven (Cumbria) campuses.
